While You’re Here

Alert Bay, located on Cormorant Island, is a small, colourful village with a rich and thriving cultural history. With dozens of beautiful totem poles found throughout the island and miles of beach, marsh and forest trails, walking on this island can be an adventure in and of itself (the island does have many hills, and a car can make some explorations easier).

You can view a map of the island here, which includes walking trails and notable locations.
